This is a document that assesses the energy efficiency of a property on a scale from A+ (very efficient) to F (not very efficient) and is issued by qualified professionals capable of doing so. The Energy Certificate contains information on the building's constructive characteristics and energy consumption for different uses, such as heating and cooling the house and production of domestic hot water. It also includes improvement measures to reduce consumption, such as installing double glazing, reinforcing insulation or installing more efficient equipment.
